by far the best municipal golf course i have ever played. kept in good nick and beautiful layout. if somebody was to buy this course and turn it private, im sure some money could be made. the layout is far more beautiful than some private clubs i know. some of the holes are superb to play, really making you think, presenting genuine risk reward oppurtunities. also, the little cafe serves up a right good bacon sarnie

This is a fantastic course probably the best kept (on the "link" golf card system.
The fairways are well kept as were the greens which were modeled with good breaks.
There are plenty of testing par 4's, I was a bit dissapointed at the lack of par 5's though, the 15th 470 yds = par 4 whereas the 16th 432 yds = par 5 ??? I can only assume it's because it's uphill !
But all in all a very nice picturesque course.
