Played on 13/6/2007 in warm overcast conditions. Course is a very good challenge but gives average hitters a real chance. Accuracy is key and straying is punished. The course was in lovely condition and is charming. Everyone we met was friendly and the facilities were very good. Will certainly play here again and in the not too distant future I hope.

Played on a lovely sunny day April 2007. Set in beautiful countryside just outside affluent Rothley, this is an excellent club. The course, though not long, provides its test by the requirement for accurate hitting, and staying out of the thick rough. Unusually this course is not the normal 2 links of 9, but instead meanders follwing the outside path of the land, with a large agricultural field to your right. It returns clockwise round the top end of this field.
I thought this one of the best courses I have played in Leicestershire, and look forward to returning again.
Friendly welcome from all we met.

We played this course on a hot day in June. Visitors are welcome on Saturdays, but not until after 2pm. The course was quite nice and in very good condition. The rough was just about right. Plenty of it. It wasn't deep at all but if you were off the fairway, you were in trouble. The course was not difficult at all, but as the rough was very clingy, a high score is easily attained. All in all, a nice course with a small but tidy clubhouse. If you were a member there, you would be proud of it's condition.
