Played on a sunny day in June 08. Thoroughly enjoyable course that winds backwards and forwards along the Downs, very different to the normal two loops of nine. Noticeable that you need to be able to play the ball below and above your feet as certainly on the first nine you never seem to have a flat lie, but I stress the incline is very slight. There are some fantastic holes and the 10th stands out as its a par 5 with a raised green so you shot to this is very challenging. Overall I think this is an excellent course and using an Open Fairways card it was £20 for the day, a bargain. The Club House is magnificent, very friendly and the food was good and amazingly cheap. We had a very warm welcome from the Pro, and they have one of the best Pro Shops I have ever come across with virtually every manufacturer represented. I can recommend this course highly.

A very enjoyable course which will challenge players of all standards. Makes excellent use of the natural contours of the land with almost every hole presenting a different challenge, the 12th was my favourite. Some spectacular scenery, particularly on the back 9, with the 17th and 18th tees providing breathtaking views over North Hampshire.
