Very good value for what you get. A high quality course, in good condition, smooth greens, and tightly mown fairways. A long hitters course, so best played when the ground gives you some assistance.
In a peaceful countryside setting, though no views of note due to Leicestershires flat nature. The 18th is a fine finishing hole, especially rewarding to hole a putt with members in the club house looking on.

Excellent course , have played it many times. Greens are always in fine condition and this course really is for the straight hitter with many large trees lining the fairways. Especially enjoyed the back nine.

An excellent course in the middle of the English counrtyside.A very tough start and an equally demanding finish but there are opportunities for birdies in the middle.Nearly all fairways are tree lined and consequently you need to be straight but, apart from the 1st and 3rd,not necessarily long.Water comes into play on back nine.Course in excellent condition (july 2002).Changing rooms adequate with showers. Clubhouse snacks fine and decent selection of beers! Nice patio to watch players coming down the last.
