Six of us played on 30 July 2007 on a clear sunny day, and the views were superb. The course was in fabulous condition, especially the greens which must have been running 9 on the stimp. Holes 1-9 are good but Holes 10-18 really test every club in the bag (and your fitness!). All the members we met were extremely welcoming, as were the clubhouse staff. I would recommend this club to anyone looking for a friendly game of golf in great surroundings. We will be going back in 2008.

I played here on the 23 August on what unfortunately, turned out to be a miserable day weather wise. I had to give up on the 13th but still managed to appreciate the scenic beauty of this course. Its a good challenge for golfers of all levels and was in good condition. Course is rather hilly with a few steep climbs but there are buggies available for those that need them. Guy in the pro' shop needs to cheer up a bit and be a bit more welcoming. Weekday green fee now £30 and only accepted payment in cash.

I had the privelage to play this course last week (29/09/2003) and i must say it is one of the most scenic and demanding courses i have played. From 12 of the 18 fairways you have breathtaking views of the English Channel and Coastlines, but this is not a links course, the woodlands in which the course is set have been sculptured to perfection, and the cliffs have just the right amount of backdrop to allow for wayward balls. The Greens are like glass, well shielded and indeed in some cases you are playing 400+ yards blind from the tees. The staff and locals are some of the friendliest i have come across and the 19th has some fantastic services. I have played over 300 courses around britain, and this is one that i would definitely recommend to anyone down in Folkestone.

A downlands course with lovely views over the English Channel.
Course is not long but don't be fooled, it is still a very good test of golf.
Several blind tee-shots make it a tricky course to play for the first time.
Also the course is quite exposed to the prevailing S.W. winds making it even a bigger test on windy days.
