Sickleholme Golf Club Player Reports
Gordon Johnson (England) 31/03/08
We visited Sicklehome on 30th March 2008 with 14 members of our society and what a great day we had. The course had heavy overnight rain and we were suprised not to be using any temporaries, not suprisingly there was still water in some bunkers and a little wet underfoot but playable all the same. The course is very challenging and interesting, with breathtaking views, the greens were tricky and in good condition. We got a fantastic winter deal with half price green fees which was well worth the money (£17), the club were kind and flexible and food (home made pie and chips) was delicous. We will definately come back and play Sickleholme again, it's a superb course , excellent value for money, well run and well worth the extra drive.

Good walk, good golf & greens. Hilly but worth every puff & pant.Interesting par 3's.
John Stopforth (England) 22/10/99
The course has easy access, and is situated right on the edge of the local greenbelt.
It is a wide long course which demands your full concentration. The views you get at the eleventh tee are some of the best Ive ever seen. More breath taking than the Santa Maria Country club on the Costa del sol. The 18th is fun but if you get it wrong it literally is a world of pain.
Id recomend it to any 10 + handicapper
