St. Neots Golf Club Player Reports

Played a society day in early June. Overall an excellent course and facilities. The course meanders around the riverside, and whilst not quite the 'thinking golfers challenge' as described on the web site is a fair challenge. The switch from 9 to 18 holes has resulted in some long walks between the tees, and I understand that they are looking to try and improve this.
when we played the course was in good condition with the medium rough quite testing. I suspect that it can become very wet in the winter being so close to the rivers.
The clubhouse is spacious and well equiped, as is the pro shop. The food was ok but a bit bland.
Good stroke saver can be downloaded from their web site

St. Neots Golf Course is the best I have played in long time. The fairways are tight, rough is playable and strategically placed bunkers make it a superb course for all beginners or low handicap golfers. The clubhouse is in perfect condition with full size snooker tables, resturant, and bar to cater for all needs. All in all, whenever you play, it is an absoloute pleaser play!

St. Neots is always a pleasure to play. The course is always in very good condition and the greens are without doubt the best (and fastest!) in the county. The course is tightly packed into the available land and can seem a little constricting at times but there is a fine mixture of long and short holes.
The clubhouse is very well appointed and welcoming and the standard of catering is very good.
All in all I would recommend St. Neots very highly.
