if you cant consistantly hit the driver straight keep it in the bag on the front nine...very tight and narrow tree lined fairways ...the back nine is a bit more open where you can have a lash of the tee ..very well kept course which i have visited on several occasions because of its well designed holes..very good test of golf and a course i would highly recomend..

Lovely course especially the front 9. I think i enjoyed it because i played well but it is still an absolutely fantastic course. I had a lovely meal to top off the day. Play this course.

The first nine meander over streams and through mature woodland, the second nine holes are parkland with wide fairways. The par three 14th is the highest point on the course and permits a panoramic view of the northumberland countryside.
It was a delight to play two nines of such contrasting character!
A thoroughly enjoyable course to play!!
The food available in the club house looked reasonably priced and very well prepared.
