A compact course with reasonable variety of holes. Use of water fairly light, most coming on a long par 3 on the back nine over 3 lakes. One or two tough holes (long uphill par four again on the back nine, the biggest challenge).

Quite a few crossover holes and tees close to preceding greens, you will need to keep alert on a busy day.

Tehidy may not be the longest course in the land, but its treelined fairways and heavy rough make accurate driving essential. It's a course that I return to every year and always enjoy my round.

The dress rules sound much the same as many other clubs around the country and a quick phone call would have cleared up any misunderstandings.
