I was born not so very far from Thorpe Hall and as a child I remember being in awe of the ambience of the Golf Club. Recencently my wife and I had the opportunity of playing the course for the first time. We we were both very impressed both by the condition of the course and with the hospitality we received as visitors. A childhood ambition realised. Thank you.

As the only comment was made 4 years ago i thought that i could put some input to Pete's comment.
First of all yes the courses condition is very good from April till september but when the weather hits the old marshland course it hits it harshly.
The members are amazingly friendly and the quality of golfers in cat. 1 are very good (one of the most in england).
The catering and bar staff are kind friendly and helpful and the hardworking proshop staff (Bill McColl, Gowan and Gazza mac)thank you all from Roy o hara all the way down to Dave Yang.

Thorpe Hall golf club is a very interesting course, the members are very friendly and the course is in good condition at all seasons. The course is in its best condition from April through to the end of August. The proffessional shop is also very good it offers lots of clubs and clothes and for very good prices. Finally the catering is very good and the prices are reasonable. It is a good day out.
