From A12, follow A1094 to Aldeburgh. Continue into Aldeburgh town centre. At seafront, turn left and Thorpeness is located one mile along this road. You will find the hotel and golf club next to the lake in Thorpeness village.

Thorpeness is a challenging coastal heathland course, set on the unique Suffolk Heritage Coast. 18 holes, 6271 yards. S.S.S. 70 and designed in 1922 by the legendary James Braid. The course has excellent drainage and is playable all year, there are no temporary greens.

Full clubhouse facilities are available including pro shop, bar, terrace, restaurant. Practice range and putting green available. Indoor golf academy, including club fitting service, teaching with video and computer analysis and golf simulator for hire by the hour - play St Andrews!

The AA 3 Star Hotel has 30 en-suite bedrooms, an elegant lounge overlooking the Meare, traditional wood-panelled bar, library and snooker room.
