I was looking forward to playing this course and was not really dissappointed. The only bad points I would make is that there were a lot of drainage work on most of the greens and a few of them were temporary which annoyed me. Apart from that the standard and the state of the course was very high considering it was the end of January and I only paid £10!!!!

This is a very friendly club from the members and pro to the bar staff. the course is a really good challenge but it is not a beast. The course has a great finnish from the 13th which is as good as I've played and I've played some top courses. The condition of the course was good but the greens a little slow but true.

Played this course on 23rd July. It was in super condition and there is not one dissapointing hole, a true gem ! Only slight annoyance is that there isn't a course planner available, and some paths from green's to the next tee would benefit from some signage to help the visitor and help speed up play. But other than that, top notch ! Thoroughly recommended.

If you get the chance, go and play this course NOW! It is in absolutely beautiful condition, the fairways, the greens, everything.

One of the (if not the) longest courses in Staffordshire offers something for everyone from high handicappers (such as myself) to scratch players, and boasts the longest Par 5 in the area. The clubhouse has recently been refurbished and is fantastic. The restaurant/bar food facilities are also very good and are very reasonably priced.

An absolute gem. I'm already booked in to play next month. A lovely course.

I played Trentham Park last September for the first time and being a novice I shot a quite unremarkable 140. I enjoyed every moment of this course - apart from when I actually went to hit the ball! I played there again last week and the experience was just as good. I made my first ever birdie on the par 3 15th (a curious hole - visit the course you'll see what I mean). After my driver deserted me for the 11th time I switched to hitting my trusty 4 iron, 4 iron, PW combo and simply enjoyed the course. I'm still a novice but I shaved a good 30 strokes off my last score there. Hopefully this will improve again when I return to the course later in June.

A VERY GOOD PARKLAND COURSE. THE COURSE HAS SOME REALLY CHALLENGING HOLES, BUT IF YOU CAN KEEP THE BALL IN PLAY A GOOD SCORE IS POSSIBLE. HOLES TO NOTE ARE THE UPHILL PAR 4 8TH (THE SECOND SHOT PLAYS LONGER THAN IT LOOKS!), PAR 5 12TH & PAR 3 15TH. FOR ANYONE PLAYING THIS COURSE FOR THE FIRST TIME BE WARNED ON THE PAR 4 14TH. DO NOT HIT DRIVER AS I DID!!! A MID TO LONG IRON WILL SUFFICE AS THERE IS A BROOK SOME 200 YARDS FROM THE TEE, EVEN A DECENTLY STRUCK 3 WOOD WILL REACH THE BROOK. THE PAR 4 16TH ALSO PRODUCES A DIFFICULT DECISION FROM THE TEE. IT SEEMS VERY NARROW FROM THE TEE, BUT A WELL STRUCK DRIVER WILL OPEN UP THE GREEN, I HIT 3 WOOD DOWN THE MIDDLE AND WAS BLOCKED OFF FROM THE GREEN!!! OVERALL THIS IS A FINE COURSE WITH EXCELLENT GREENS. A TRUE ENJOYMENT TO PLAY!!!
