Location/Description:
Three miles north of Bolton off the A666; follow signs for Last Drop Village, literally a few hundred yards up the hill from the Last Drop.
Turton is a full 18 hole course (6124 yards,par 70) which hosted the Bolton Championship in 2003. It offers an interesting and challenging mixture of moorland and parkland holes which together comprise a really good test of golf. The views from around the course are exceptional with breathtaking views across many counties! The course is kept open all year except in the most extreme weather conditions.
The Club,which was founded in 1908, has always been renowned for its friendliness and members and visitors alike receive a warm Lancashire welcome in the traditional old clubhouse. Visitors to the course will be particularly well received by the resident PGA Pro, Mark Saunders as well as Bob and Margaret Coleman, the Club Steward and Stewardess who are in charge of the bar and dining facilities.
Green Fees:
High season (April-Oct) : Midweek Round £24, Day £28 Weekend/Bank Hols Round £30, Day £34
Low season(Nov-March): Midweek Round/day £20 Weekend/Bank Hols Round/day £20
Buggies: £12 per round, £20 per day

Rules and Ettiquette. Turton Golf Club welcomes experienced and novice golfers alike. It is essential that all visitors comply with the basic rules and ettiquette of the game.
Dress code. All golfers must wear golf shoes and appropriate clothing on the course consistent with traditional golf dress code. A copy of the club dress code is available on request
Visitors:
Limited availability on Saturdays, Wednesdays
(10.30 -3.00 pm) and every second Tuesday am - other days normally available - please call for availability as we will do our best to accommodate you.
