A tough test in the wind for me ( a high handicapper) but some great holes, all the par 3's were nice and the finishing two are wonderful, the blind tee shot over the quary and lime kilne followed by a spectacular view over the bay is a great finish. Excellent bacon sarni! and a decent pint, what a day!

Played the course last week. Charged £32 for 27 holes midweek which was excellent value as the course condition is immaculate. Not too difficult if you can stay out of the trees but lots of interesting holes particularly the par three 5th and the blind 17th (dont want to thin one there!). The staff were very friendly and had one of the best sausy and bacon rolls in the clubhouse. Definate one to play again.

Played in August 2006 and enjoyed it very much. Course was in good condition despite heavy rain the previous day. Some memorable holes, such as the blind 17th - where exactly do you aim your drive - and wonderful views from the 18th tee. If you are a golfer visiting South Lakeland I'd recommend it.

A great course! You could put this course in an inner city and it would still be a good course. Add to this the fact that on one side you have a views over the estuary and in the other direction the lakes, makes it superb. Condition only above average but I put this down to the time of year (September). I paid 30.00 midweek which seemed a really good deal.

Great parkland course with great views that lend themselves to a downland course. Well worth a visit!
