Sorry to disagree with some of the previous comments, but I thought this was a poor course, even at £16. 50% of the greens were mottled, bare and bumpy, little space between individual holes and all a bit samey. Greens didn't hold at all - I hit in wedges from the fairway which just disappeared off the back. Rough was very thick and if your ball was only a yard off line it was a matter of luck if you found it; I don't disagree with punishing off line shots but you need to differentiate between 1 yard off the fairway and 20 yards off. Needless to say builders compacted sand in the bunkers. The course was difficult but for all the wrong reasons!

Played here November 07 (£8 after 1 p.m).
Better than average municipal.First time i have played here for about 10 years & the course hasn't changed one bit.Uxbridge differs from other municipals in that there are lots of elevation changes (usually i find that munis tend to be fairly flat) to the extent that there are only 3 level holes.
Most of the holes tend to be straight & there are 3 doglegs.I feel that the course could undergo a bit of modernisation as there is virtually no fairway bunkering & the fairway bunkering that there is is fairly basically contructed & not really positioned to catch shots.(The fairway bunker on the 1st doesn't catch drives or 2nd shots).
Seven of the par 4's are less than 351 yards but the courses defence is that nearly half the greens are on slopes. The best stretch of holes are 7 to 14 .There are par 3's at 11,12 &14 & before you know it you're almost home.We had a clear run & shot round in just over 2 1/2 hours.
When we played the greens had been very heavily sanded & looked more like "browns".Although they putted reasonably, visually they were the worst looking greens i've seen this winter.
Overall, this course is quite good fun, nicely laid out & there is a good variety of interesting holes.

A very challenging but enjoyable course. Quite hilly and you certainly feel it when you walk off the 18th. A well maintained course with very friendly staff.

An excellent course - not particularly long but still challenging ! A good variety of holes.....
A couple of par 3s from elevated tees and also an elevated green makes you think a bit. Also, a couple of the longer holes are uphill, effectively adding length and a couple of holes have very sloping fairways.
Alas, the greens aren't always great and the course can get a bit boggy during the winter months.
Overall - I enjoy this course as it does provide a difference from a lot of the other options in the West London area, in particular the nearby Ruislip.
£24 for a weekend round.

lovely course, short but challenging for all handicaps.greens generally in great condition but every now and again you can catch them in poor condition! but greenkeepers are always working hard to keep this course in good condition.

One of the best public golf course in the West of London. Apart from a flooded hole straight after heavy rain, the course was fantastic. To be recommanded
