Mike Jennings (England) 05/03/06
Unpretentious yet challenging 9 hole course with crossing streams, the usual bunkers and occasional pond. Reasonable fees - £5.00 (2006) or £7.50 including club, bag & trolley hire - sufficient free parking and fun for all the family. Large driving range (£1.00 for 20 balls), practice bunker and putting green for those needing the practice! Recommended for non-club visitors and locals alike.

This place is now under new management which has been for the better. The course has improved and been made more user friendly for all standards. The range has improved a lot with better mats.
The course is a good test for the pre club golfer and with a great Professional on hand you cant go wrong. As a stepping stone and learning centre this is great.
If you just want to have fun go there, hire some clubs and enjoy yourselves.

im a junior member at weymouth. and i find that it is a very good and challenging course, even though it is short. The only problem is that the 10th-13th is on the other side of the road. it is very good rates at weymouth the junior membership is only £60 a year.

I play this course at least once a week and feel that it is well priced and has an excellent driving range and the putting green is very teasy.
Some of the mats are in need of attention and there is alot of litter lying around, although the new management seem very capable. A joy to play there

ONCE AGAIN , PLAYED THE COURSE ON HOLIDAY. AND AS GOOD AS MY LAST REPORT.ALTHOUGH MATS ON DRIVING RANGE IN NEED OF SERIOUS ATTENTION.ACUTALLY WORKED OUT WHY THE COURSE IS QUITE DIFFICULT,ALL THE GREENS ARE SMALL IN SIZE , SO YOU NEED TO VERY ACCURATE TO HIT THEM. IF YOU PLAY IT , ENJOY IT , IT IS A NICE COURSE. T.C.
