Westerhope Golf Club Player Reports
The Trout (England) 30/08/07
Played Westerhope recently and it was in very good condition (as it always seems to be)
Course is a good test with a variety of shots required and terrific value for money.
Club house well supported, with friendly members and good grub.

recently joined this course as an junior member as i player with a few friends in the summer holidays 2005 and it has some great and challenging holes, you need to be straight and accurate at all times as the tree lines on most fairways are very dense trees and cost u atleast a shot to chip out that is 18 a round if u dont think about your game!

what i say is hit the green not reach it meaning take the club that you are confortable with to hit the green not the club u will have to strugle with, stick to fairways and shoot low scores simple, overall BEAUTIFUL course:)

Nice course with good variety of holes. The tree lined fairways make wayward shots difficult as you'll often find yourself behing a well established tree ! - overall, definitely worth further rounds.

Played the course 06/05/02. Although £20 we found it to be a nice course. It is well established and was in very good condition. The conclusion at the end of the round was that it is certainly worth another visit. Only gripe is that you have to play to some of the greens blindly and a visible marker above the greens would be useful for first time players. For turn-up-and-play worth a look. Appeared to have a well stocked pro shop but didn't accept creditcard payment for the round so take some cash.

the general condition of the course was good but if the club want to charge £18 per round they should do something with the greens , which were all in very poor condition , or reduce the cost .
