Windermere is the best course i have ever played.highly recommended. Tight tees shots make it a truly challenging round.well worth a visit.

My son and i played the course last week ,its an unusual course, better for having played it a few times,it is rather on the short side, and very hilly, not for players with walking difficulties, its immaculatly presented, tees and greens very good.having saying that it was very warm when i played, one of the members told me it doesnt drain well so i dont know what it would be like in the wet.The catering is first rate, and there is a lovley clubhouse,i do feel however that its a touch over priced at 25 pounds, its better value at the day rate which i belive is 30 pounds.nice interesting course, little short but worth a visit.

Windermere is a strange course. It is very short which means that you don't have to take out a driver on many holes (only one really). However, unless you are a good iron player you will be visiting the rough, which is very deep, quite often. This course could be a bit boring if you are a low handicap player because as long as you hit the fairway you can shoot really low.
