Winter Hill Golf Club Player Reports
Andrew Shaw (England) 22/05/07
Having always enjoyed playing Winter Hill over a number of years I was very impressed when I played there yesterday. There have been a number of changes to the course and it's definition is now outstanding. It has always been "very nice" but now I consider it to be excellent. Well done to all who have had an input to the changes and long may it continue to be a top class course.

Excellent drainage being on the top of a hill, fairways were dry even during the floods. No water hazards or ditches make for an easier passage to the greens which are also in very good condition.
Played late one Sunday, and the bar (and everthing else) was shut at 8:00pm!
