Alan BRADLEY (England) 15/05/06
A truly enjoyable course. We were greeted by friendly catering staff who provided us with a truly remarkable breakfast at a reasonable price. They then proceeded to relieve us of as much cash as possible for their respective charity raffles but all in a good natured way. There is no booking system other than the old ball slot system which seems to work well. A well stocked pro shop with friendly staff. As for the course, there is little we can say that hasn't already been said. A good and interesting test of golf for all but the low handicappers and even they would enjoy it. This mature and pleasant course is very well maintained and we even saw one of the ground staff watering seed in whilst it was raining. The greens were maybe just in need of a little attention but were generally very good. The only real faults were the lack of sand in the bunkers and the changing rooms were somewhat neglected with no lights and poor showers. Every hole appears to have its own peculiarities which only add to the enjoyment and of five courses played that week this was probably the best value for money. We were just too tired to enjoy it properly. Hopefully one of us will win a raffle prize so we can justify the trip back to play there again.Thoroughly recommended. The Derbyshire Bunch.

31-05-03 Excellent yet very challenging particularly the back 9 but all in all an excellent course with some very awkward pin positions.
Derek Pearce (GB) 20/08/01
A very interesting course that breaks you in gently on the first 2 holes before moving onto a series of well designed holes that each have their own character. Recommended to any serious golfer.
(GB) 10/09/99
An excellent, challenging course. The pin positions can be almost impossible to play to but where the only downside on an enjoyable day.
(GB) 30/08/99
A course of two halves with the first half being quite tree lined and the second half having a great deal of water.
A tough but enjoyable course.
