Prior to playing this Sunday I felt the £30 was a bit steep for a course that the locals have said used to be a farmers field. Having played it I must say that it is a lovely course. Quite mature and full of interesting golf holes.
Great failities and a freindly welcome.
It is worth the £30 and I do intend to play here again.

Great course. If you want to play golf with no cars and noise near by then this is the place. Out in the middle of the country, Challenging mixture of holes. Golf range with grass and bunker for summer months and excellent cheap food in the clubhouse for afterwards. Good looking staff too !

have played this course regularly for twelve months. Winter and summer it has been well cared for. Although it is a challenging course, for a novice like me it makes you work to improve. It has very interesting scenery and in my opinion is one of the better courses in the area. The staff are also very helpful.

I played this course on Saturday, there had been an amount of rain in the last fortnight but it was a hot sunny day. What a pleasure, the greens did not look too good but played quick and true. The course is a challenge for the novice due to it's length and the camber on some of the fairways, but has a balance of risk and reward for the low handicapper, the greens on two par 4 are in danger to a long drive over trees and rough in one case and a small lake in the other. The eighteenth is a bit of a cow as it is a steeply uphill par 5 although this can be had in two with a 280 yard drive (uphill). I recommend this course to all, enjoy the rolling hills and farmers fields adjacent to the course.

Great course, well drained so good in the winter when we played, greens well kept but not too undulating. some attackable par 4s for the good player, and not to trying for the novice. A great day out

Excellent venue. Good fairways, great greens and well maintained. It is good value to the experienced and the novice alike.
