the course has open for many years it appears that log cabins are becoming the mainstay of the club, to the point that a couple of holes leave you teeing off towards the cabins, i hit one but thankfully no broken windows or bones. the area through the cabins is rough, scrubby and generally in need of some care and attention. the back 9 was infinately better but still gave the impression of being neglected with only the minimum maintenance being carried out. all efforts seem to be on building cabins.
no changing facilities...enjoyed my golf there but normally do.
not good value for money. would't play there again

This course has potential, however, I felt it was lacking in a few areas. There are no changing rooms, you have to use the swimmers rooms but you cant put your shoes on in there.
The fairways and greens needed more work and and the sand in the bunkers was poor.
This course also goes through Hartland Forest's static home park on a few holes which is both off putting and more than a little dangerous if you are prone to thinning a Tee shot at a 6 year olds head height !! (Not that I am of course, but you never know)
As I said potential because there are some good holes and the back nine is superior to the front.

A bit like the Curators egg this one. Some very nice short holes and Par 4's, but lacking a little something compared to other courses in the area. Still worth a visit though. Will be better in a couple of years time.
