Location/Description:

On the A1151 Norwich to Wroxham.

A new £1.6m Championship Standard Golf Course will be opening in mid 2003 at Sprowston, to completely replace the old course. The new parkland course will measure 6,527 yards from the Championship tees, and will feature over 75 bunkers, dynamic water hazards and Championship Greens. The majority of the existing mature trees have been retained on the new course. It is confidently expected to host major professional tournaments in the future, and will be the flagship venue for Championship Golf in the East Anglia region.

The course has been designed by Ross McMurray of European Golf Design, who lists Marriott Hollins Hall, The Marquess at Woburn and the improvements at Celtic Manor for the 2010 Ryder Cup as his most notable achievements.

The venue also features a 27 bay covered driving range, putting green, and bunker and chipping practice area.

Green Fees:

Weekdays £40.00 per round; weekends £50.00 per round. 2 for 1 vouchers available for each full green fee paid. Golfers should adhere to the club dress code at all times (tailored trousers, collared shirts, golf shoes), and should be able to demonstrate a knowledge of the game of golf, and suitable playing ability. Handicap certificates are NOT required.
