Calverley Golf Club Player Reports

played here a few times avarage course with very poor greens,very very strict dress code no golfing attire with out collars,i were wearing a smart golf jumper trousers and expensive golf shoes payed at counter then went to first tee, when the chairman came running and told me to get a refund even though the course was empty and midweek unbelivable.

Played this course after work in the evening. Excellent fairways but greens quite small and covered in branches, twigs, leaves, etc! Holes very tightly packed together so you have to keep your eyes open. Wind makes things quite challenging for such a short course
Excellent value for 8quid though. Would definately go again.

Calverly GC has vastly improved in the last year. The greens are well cut, and the holes are interesting if a little short in a couple of instances.
Another 9 holes are in development, and more land has been purchased. Bar and pro shop staff helpful and friendly. Definately one to keep your eye on.

Poor quality greens but the fairways make up for this i would suggest that you go up the road to woodhall hills if quality greens are what you want the club house has very good beer but the food is not so good overall I would say 4out of 10
