First off I guess I should say that the cost has gone up a lot from that shown. (£20 weekday). However, this is still good value. The course is a well maintained track and has some really interesting holes. Had great fun playing there. The reception in the pro shop and club house was excellent and would recommend to anyone in the area. One criticism however - The holes do not always follow an obvious order and the signage is quite poor. It is very easy to get lost looking for the next hole in places can cause slow play.

I played this course last Thursday after attending a corporate event with a supplier. Therefore I was a little hungover but had a fantastic day. I agree with the last poster that the first hole is a great starter with good chance of birdie. Then as he says it gets much tougher, with some great natural and man made hazards that requires precise position of the tee shot.
I had my best all round performance on this course, and as I played on my own it was good to take my time and reflect on each hole. A brilliant par 3 with treelined drive added to the feeling that this could be a very tough course for wayward hitters!
Good do!

This is a fine, well laid out and well looked after course. The 1st hole is the easiest you will get to start a round. But don't let that fool you. Thereafter it becomes much harder, with many long par 4,s. It is not until you reach the last five holes, that things become easier. But by that time your scorecard could be in tatters. The 18th is a great finishing hole. Par 4 dog leg right requiring a delicate 2nd shot to land and stay on a tricky green. Great stuff.
