Played the course 8th October. I would echo the comments made below. The course is not long overall but there are 2 par 5's. All the greens have some slope or undulations making them a challenge, shame they have just been treated for the winter. Some of the greens slope front to back and do not have any banks around them which adds to the challenge. Conditions were fine and holes are varied. Overall good value and I would like to return when the greens are in better condition.

Played the course with our society today ( 30/09/06). Used the driving range prior to playing which is well equiped with auto loading tees and a good selection of targets. The course itself was in good condition,was a reasonable challange with a fair variety of holes. The only complaint was the state of the greens. I suspect we were just unlucky and that they had been treated and sanded recently. Otherwise a good challange whilst not overly long.Would not be disappointed if our society selected the course again next year.

Played this course on Friday 23/6/6 as part of a society, if you are looking for a challenge with good greens (not a flat one on the course)and a great view, then this is for you.

Excellent assistance and help from the pro (even though they are in temporary accomadation whilst renovations are carried out).

An excellent start to a great week-end of golf.

If you have'nt played here, the do, you'll not be disapointed

Played the course in mid april 06 and the course seems to drain poorly.

however, despite being waterlogged my friend and i enjoyed the day.

theres quite some variety in the holes here and some of the greens are quite heavily contoured.

I'll definately play this course again and that fact says more than these words.

having played quite afew course around yorkshire even after bad weather this has got to be the worst the course was bordering on unplayable fairways with puddles all over the greens were heavy spiked can belive this is related to rufford park it like a moped compered to ruffords aston martin i certainly wont be going there again only saving grace is it only cost £12 to play but state of it this was to much

12 of us travelled up to Grassmoor and despite the amount of rainfall in the previous days , the greens and for most parts, the fairways, was still in good condition.

Excellent food and at a very reasonable price.

Short yardage course , but still enough obstacles in the way to make you think !

Day enjoyed by all.
