Played here on the Bridge course for the very first time. We found the course was not particularly threatening, providing a very enjoyable round. The fairways are for the most part easy to hit, and mostly in good condition. The layout was well thought out. Course markings were excellent, and bunkers were consistent and well kept. Tees were as good as you can reasonably expect at this time of year, the only complaint being that nobody seemed to replace their divots on the par 3s but thats hardly the club's fault.
A few things we didnt like: Some fairways looked like they could do with mowing, and despite a relative lack of rain the ground was quite boggy in places. The greens were possbily the only real disappointment. The grass was often discoloured as though too much chemical weedkiller had burned it. Some greens were also quite lumpy and inconsistent.
Overall impression is that this course should be really nice once summer comes around and should definitely be worth the money once the greens recover. In the meantime, it was still a good round and I would happily play it again tomorrow

I've played the bridge course many times now over the last three years. The course is now playing the best it has in that time.
The course is being looked after with the future in mind. With a hundred or so new trees planted in the last 12 months. This is finally giving you a fighting chance of finding your ball in the rough, if you do wander of very wide fairways.
Greens are still hard, but great to put on.
Overall a very pleasent place to play golf, and at the price difficult to beat locally.

Played this course in August this year. Found it to be dull and uninspiring, although the Greens weren't bad. Unfortunately the length of time it took to get around didn't help matters either (5hrs). There are better courses in the area for your money.
