Visited in May 07, and played The Valley course as The Lakes Championship course was hosting a ladies competition. 26 pounds for the days golf was quite reasonable as they dont take 2fore1 or any other discount scheme. The courses are maturing nicely but its still easy to see that they are converted agricultural land by the thick, clumpy rough, but greens were excellent. The Valley course has lots of interesting par 3 holes which involve you driving across the valley, walking down and then back up again, its not an easy walking course and after awhile you realise that its all pretty much the same. I believe the Lakes course has lots of long par 5's which makes it championship length, but again its up and down the same field, so if you are playing 36 holes I suggest a buggy. Overall it was just an okay venue and whilst there was nothing to complain about, there was also nothing to make me want to visit again. But the clubhouse was excellent, the food good and the staff welcoming and efficient. I have played many worse than Greetham.

I've played the Valley course twice this year and it's absolutely fantastic. Some of the holes are the best I've ever played with water features and breathtaking scenery. There's a good mix of long and short and the course was always in tip-top condition. The greens are the best I've putted on. There are plenty of undulations and I'd use a buggy next time. If you're anywhere near a visit is a must. Good after golf facilities as well. Will probably take the family for a golfing break in the near future.

Had a superb day's golf on 19/7/05, playing both the Valley and Lakes Courses. Booked this in advance as a 71st birthday treat for my 10 handicap father. Used a 2 for 1 voucher, which gave the two of us, 36 holes golf for £50, plus a buggy at £22 for the day (which is well recommended as there are plenty of undulations!)Two very different and challenging courses, both with excellent greens, together with first class clubhouse facilities made this a very memorable day.

Played the Valley course at Greetham for the first time, and what a course it is ! Some of the holes are absolutely breathtaking. There are several challenging par 3's, some with deceptively small yardage. Course in superb condition, and greens near enough perfect. The 17th hole was the pick of the bunch for me a real cracker. Will definately return.

My workmates and I have played Greetham several times now and it seems to get better every time! As soon as you arrive you are made to feel very welcome. The Valley course is our favourite, some of the best holes I`ve played, the greens are good as are the fairways and tees. Clubhouse facilities are excellent. Will be returning soon.
