Weybrook Park Golf Club Player Reports

Course not bad....greens are not as good as they were. Will most probably be nice when work is complete, although appears to still have a long way to go. Lets hope the management of the course is good afterwards and that the club decide to spend money. Could also do with upgrading facilities....Staff still friendly...although a great shame Andrew is no longer around, he was a credit to the club and a thoroughly nice and professional person. Unfortunately the club, by what members were saying, is not the same without him and Anthony Dillon (Pro) is never around.

I have been a member at Weybrook Park for 12 months. The course little more than ten years old is fairly open and consequently the course lacks a little character, however, the general condition and maintenance of the course make this course a constant pleasure. Free draining it is always good to play a course where mats are used sparingly and temporary greens very rarely and only ever as a result of severe frost.
The 8th is a testing par 4 slightly over 400 yards with a narrow green guarded left and right by bunkers. The 11th similarly is tough to hit in regulation. The 16th is the signature hole hitting from an elevated tee in to a valley and then back up to a raised green with a monster bunker in the face.
The club are currently developing a further nine holes which will create three loops of nine with vastly improved practice facilities.
Weybrook Park is well worth a visit for a good value, well maintained course, playable in all weathers.

Very impressed the greens were in exceptional condition and the fairways were top class.
Challenging course and a pleaseure to play on, loved the signature hole and the tough par 3's
Bunkers looked tough, thankfully stayed out of them, and everyone was very friendly and helpfull.

The course is well maintained with probably the best and truest greens in the Basingstoke area, maybe even Hampshire.
Wayward driving is not punished too much but the rough around the greens can be difficult to get out of if your ball sits down.
The clubhouse staff and members alike are welcoming and friendly. This course is well worth a visit

This is a course that is not only in excellent condition and very well maintained, but also a very challenging track.
No 2 holes are the same, and there are some superb holes to be played - A great sweeping undulating dog legged 8th, a visually stunning 16th with a big drop from tee to fairway, and then a rise back up to the green to name but two.
The small things make a difference here in that there are smart yardage signs on each tee, with well kept tee boxes and smart wooden steps and manicured gravel paths.
Both the greens and fairways were in very good condition.
There is no sonobbery here and as paying visitors we were made very welcome, both in the pro-shop and the clubhouse. I would put this down as a great society venue.
A weekend green of £30 was excellent value for money. Go play it!
