im a member at heyrose golf club and sandiway.. the greens at heyrose are the best ive seen for this time of year and as for the pro shop i dont know what that guy below is on about because the pro shop is part of a titleist custom fitting program and also a main dealership of benross and full of good quality items at very reasonable prices... holes to look out for our ...
1st... short par 3 but danger all around.. out of bounds left with a running stream and o.b tightly behind the green bunkers surrounding and red stakes right
13th... short par 5 which is reachable in two with a good drive although it would take a very good second shot over the pond and if not pulled off a par 5 is unlikely
16th... very long par 3 with trouble everywhere just like the 1st many people need driver off this demanding hole
17th and 18th our two easy birdie holes to make up for the hard holes before

Played this course on a wet Sunday afternoon as a small society (9). First impressions were good; course is well signposted from the main road, and is very close to the motorway making it one of the most accessible we've played. On arrival there was coffee waiting for us & the friendly kitchen staff were on-hand to rustle up a couple of breakfasts. So far so good.
The course was above average, the greens very good, the rough however looked like it required a little TLC in places. Notible holes to look out for;
4th - Dogleg right with OOB down the left, the hole can be cut short with a drive over the trees.
13th - Dogleg right Par 5 with a pond in front of the green.
16th - Long par 3 within enclosed wooded area.
The clubhouse wasn't the frendliest we've encountered, a presentation was going on which meant shutters were pulled over so to separate the members, which was deemed a bit rude by the majority of us. At this point we couldn't get to the bar!
All in all a decent day out, there are however better courses in the local vacinity.

A very nice course was the general consensus amongst our society. We played it on 20th August on a rather wet day but the greens were superb and very consistent. The tees and fairways were in good condition as was the rough.
Now the negative bit. The shop was a bit lacking and the meal they gave us was very poor considering the money they had out of us. The course is very flat and a little on the featureless side with the exception of one or two holes (namely the long par 3 that the other chap mentioned below). It could do with some more bunkers both round the greens and in driving range on the fairways.
Just to help you out a bit if you play it, there is trouble at the back of almost all the greens so it's worth looking for the yardage indicators (which are very hard to see unless you happen to step on them).

an ever improving course, which involves a lot of thinking to shoot a good score. The new greens and driving range are superb. The 235 par 3 is a real test
