The plus pounts are it always easy to get a tee t8ime and 18 holes rarely takes more than 4 hours. the course is very, very flat and can become a little bit 1 dimensional. The back to back par 5's provide a test of length at #6 and #7 - especially when the wind is blowing aginst you on #7. #8 is a par 4 which tempts you to drive the dog leg and go for the green, as doees #11... But beyond this there's nothing that sticks in the mind. But great value for money and some decent hole lenths as opposed to the usual driver/wedge par 4's on most public courses.
Also a very good drving range with plenty of bays and lots of room between each.

The order of play on 'new' front nine was changed in June 2002 to eliminate having to play three par 5's in a row. Stroke indexing was also updated, and is now balanced front 9 'odds', back 9 'evens'. Many new hazards have been added to aid with course drainage over the past year.

This course if given the chance will develop well. what it needs is an influx of members to generate capital. those who are considering Golf as asport will find no better club to start with as its Members are Welcoming and the course not to testing but can be challenging .
flat but good views around.
my advice is to try it.Everyone to there own opinion but it IS EXCELLENT VALUE FOR
£12

I AM A MEMBER AT THIS GOLF CLUB AND AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH COURSE DEVELOPMENT THE FRONT 9 IS NEW BUT WHEN MATURED WILL BE EXCELLENT AND CHALLANGING WITH 3 PAR FIVES IN A ROW,THE BACK 9 IS WELL ESTABLISHED AND IN VERY GOOD CONDITION,I RECOMEND THIS COURSE TO ANYBODY AS IT IS VERY FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING TO ALL PLAYERS.
