Three loops of 9, so the ability to 'ring the changes' is available if you play there more than once. Nice parkland set-up, easy walking, decent conditions, greens slow (on the day I played anyway; if I had hit some of the 10-15 foot putts as hard at my home club, I would have been at least 5-10 feet past the hole). That said, this is a benign course with one or two tricky holes (a par 3 over a huge tree about 50 yards from the green will test you; select the right club for height and you will be short, however the right club for distance will perhaps not give you the height !). Ideal for mid to high handicappers (say 15-24) as it won't destroy you and may flatter you. Pleasant clubhouse and friendly staff. Well worth a visit - and the green fees are very competitive (£18/round).

This is a delightful golf club with some of the friendliest members I've come across in my travels. The course is superbly manicured and the greens were lovely to putt on. Some slight undulations but generally an easy walking course. Well worth a visit.
