An excellent course for beginners looking to move up to a full length course with it's wide fairways and immaculate greens you're guarenteed a good day out here.
An amazing renovation of the old club house has transformed it into a modern an exciting course . If you haven't been for a while do check out of the new tee layout and club house , you'll be in for a pleasant surprise

This is a mighty long course when the winds up! Situated beautifully on the top of a hill, this course offers some good veiws. I found the course to be very open, but VERY challenging, as the heavy rough was well over knee height, and large bunkers were amazingly well placed. It was a good experience to see some drives go as little as 160 yards in to the wind, such as on the long par 4 third hole, and well over 270 on the downwind holes.
Overall, the course may not look that challanging, but is scenic and is just like playing a links course, except, of course, without the sea. The greens were excellent, and the drainage was outstanding due to it being on a chalk base.
If you play it, best of luck, I think you'll need it!
Tom Andrews
