Well worth the hour drive from my inlaws house, cannot wait to go back again, wanted to play a links course, was a little dissapointed until I started playing, was accompanied by a junior which helped a lot, the drainage works as Kent was flooded a day earlier. greens fairways and tees in good condition, lots of water (mostly ditches). Fairways and rough fairly generious, though there is heavy rough out there. The greens great to put on. Was quite windy so club selection and shape or direction of shot was important and made for an enjoyable round, unfortunatly kitchen had shut just before I arrived back to the club house. A course not to be missed.

Played the course for the first time on what appeared to be the perfect afternoon, but the tide must have turned halfway round, the breeze got up and the balls went missing.
The course is wonderful, the huge receptive greens are in lovely condition,in fact the whole course is. The course is a good length with most par 4 requireing mid irons into the flag, layout is extremely interesting with many blind shots and doglegged fairways. Oh did I mention the water, practically every whole is affected and they swallowed 18 balls between me and my golfing buddy.Try it your love it.

this is a real tough test for those uniniated in the world of links/seaside golf. While this is in my opinion not a true links such as neighbouring Rye or Littlestone its lightning fast fairways (much faster than the greens in some areas) insescent wind, narrow fairways and punishing rough will have you either ripping up your card or begging for more. Don't be fooled by the first this course especially in the 20mph wind we played in is a beast. My single figures partner lost 7 balls and I lost nearly double that but we still really enjoyed this course in what must be one of the strangest and almost haunting landscapes of dungeness.
The pro was great and the facilities more than acceptable. If you can't get on at Rye and you won't then this is well worth a visit.

I have played this course three times and thoroghly enjoyed it. There is loads of water but that just adds to the fun!!! When the wind gets up be preapred to lose a lot of balls - but it is still a great course.

For the most part this is a very good course. It really tests one's nerve, with all the water, and course management skills. Probably one of the most difficult courses to play to handicap in the county. It has however one really quite frustrating drawback in my opinion. It has many large bunkers filled with what can only be described as builders sand. The top layer when dried out can be soft enough but just underneath it is very hard and compact thus making it difficult to play a natural bunker shot. I assume they have used this sand because it is generally windy down here and they dont want it blowing away. Havig had my moan i would reccommend this course to anyone wanting to test there all round game (it bites).
