I think this course was very easy and the fairways were running quite fast. Much easier when wet because greens are small and you need to hold the ball.

Although this is a fairly short course it is still surprisingly difficult. The fairways are not too wide and there are many tee shots where Out of Bounds is a real possibility. Low handicappers may think that this is an easy course on paper, they will be surprised.

Market Weighton Golf Society played the course in July as part of their tour and all 28 really enjoyed the whole day. The pro was very friendly and helpful, the course was a great test (every hole different) and we were made very welcome. Was the best course we played. Definately worth a visit. Look forward to playing again!

After 2/3 weeks of dry weather the course was very hard. Hazards aropund the greens which made it a very interesting course and quite a challenge also made it very difficult to hit the greens and stay on.
I'd play it again but might check it has been well watered before making the trip.

A fun and varied course with a number of interesting holes. Interestingly, the newer nine holes seem to have settled down better than the original nine and make good use of the pine woodland through which they have been built. Prone to be badly affected by winter weather with water logging a particular problem. Dunston Hall hotel offers good accommodation and food and a superb swimming pool complex for anyone wanting to make a weekend of their visit.
