Discovered this course by chance and recieved such a warm welcome I keep going back.
The course is spread over three fields and very flat, the challanging bit is discerning the fairways from the light rough.
To make the course interesting the faiways are narrow and twisting and most of the greens elevated with bunkers and the odd water trap meaning what seams to be an easy run up ends in unexpected and total disaster!
The fairways where patchy in places but most of the greens bar the 8th where in fair condition. The "Canal turn" 10th is an intersting obstical but mostly the course is very forgiving for those of us who can be a bit wayword off the tee.
Good course for those with a medium to high handicap. In windy conditions will give a good idea of what a links course could play like.

Well well, what a total bore; all but 3 of the holes are excatly the same.
Most of the fairways on the back 9 were absolutely soaking (no flippers provided either) but all 18 greens were like concrete; they clearly had not been watered in months and were brown in places. The only way to stay on the greens when hitting an iron in was to land it short and hope for the best.
The course is so easy and only the state of the greens and the 20mph wind made it remotely difficult.
Avoid unless you want to practise hitting your driver, as its a real "open your shoulders course"
Mind you for £6 (with a 241 voucher) I shouldn't complain as like most things in life you get what you pay for.

Not an easy one - beware of cutting the dogleg on the 10th hole :)
Plays long and is a bargain !
