Played on the 28th July. Warm welcome in pro shop on arrival. Tee, Fairways and Greens in perfect condition. Sand in green side bunkers could of been better. Free buggies is perfect as this is a hilly course. Only negative for the day was the lack of signs from the members car park to first tee, and the buggy paths around the course.
there are two par 4 with a straight drive are reachable. nice wide fairways. Par 5s are reachable in two other than bunkers in front of most of them.
Would I go again most definitely.

I played on Mon 18th June 2007 with a society and it was my 3rd visit to this golf club. I have enjoyed the challenge each time. So much so I have now made application to join on a 5 day membership. The value for money I feel is unbeatable. I was also impressed that you now get a golf buggy with satnav free of charge with every round of golf. Take this offer up as the walk between greens and tees on some holes is a fair distance.
Due to the various weather conditions we have in the UK, no 2 days are the same, but I would highly recomend this golf club.Give it a go and make your own minds up.

As a golf course, i feel that the lay out is excellent. There is a good mix of holes which you need to use all sorts of shots. There are bunkers a plenty protecting the course from every single shot, but they are very fair and in excellent condition.
The one let down, which may be slightly unfiar, was the condition of the course. Ok, the south of England has been bathed in sunshine with little or no rain for over a month, but the general condition was poor. Just looking at the fairways, you would say that it looked like the middle of August. The greens were also very slow and very very bobbley. However, you very rarely had a bad lie to play from, either from rough or fairway. For some reason the tee boxes had also had drainage holes in them.
After my walk from the ninth to tenth, i began to realise why buggies were complimentary. I like to walk the courses i play but this was the most demanding walk i think i've ever had on a golf course. With the wind gusting to a near gale force, this was quite literally an up-hill struggle.
All in all a nice course with impressive facilities too (grass range, practice green, chipping green, and nets), but with a little more tlc could be a real gem.

Played on a very cold, windy, clear day after about two weeks of rain.Tees pretty good. Greens very good. Some fairways a bit boggy because of the recent weather, very boggy between holes and a few were quite a treck. Lots of very good holes and no real weak ones. Will def go back in the drier weather. Last hole 560YD into 30mph facewind. Took 3 good shots to get whithin 80yds.Well worth a look.

Played there 7/9/06. In general it is a fairly nice club. The clubhouse is lovely, the staff is nice, the greens were in lovely condition. I wasn't keen on the par 3's. Apart from the first one, the other 3 are the same and just as boring as eachother. The greens although lovely condition was like playing on glass, especial with certain pin positions. I wasnt keen on the number of blind spots (make for a very wary game for a first timer) There is no need for that many pointlessly placed bunkers. Finally the stroke index one hole gives you the option to play a nice drive over the water, which i did. Only to realise that the fairway to land it on is very narrow and there is no need for the rough, you shouldnt be punished for attempting the riskier shot and lose your ball with a drive that was perfect.
