Rye Hill Golf Course Player Reports

Playing at Rye Hill golf club was a worthwhile experience. Set on top of a hill the views across the practice ground are breathtaking. The sudden wind made you just think that bit harder about what shot to play. I play off 8 and I went round in 83. The greens are challenging and you have to be having a good day with the putter. The clubhouse and bar look like they hae been recently refurbished. The service is unbelievable. A must for anyone in the area.

I played this course on a cold, wintery day in Jan 2002. Despite the weather, this was an excellent course. Greens were excellent. The course itself is quite undulating. It can feel a little windswept in places, but that just made the shorter holes more challenging. The 10th hole is a particular favourite...over a hill, large water hazard to the right of the green...ate my ball. Oh well. I look forward to playing this course again on a nice summer day.

I played the course in August of this year and found it to be a very\r\n enjoyable and challenging course. What I liked very much about the\r\n course it had a wide range of different lies through even just one\r\n hole. If there is anyone that is willing to correspond with me I\r\n would very much enjoy it. My wife and I are planning to relocate\r\n back to thw Oxford area after I finish my service with the U S Air\r\n Force. Iwould like to play the course more after I'm back over\r\n there. If you could send me more information about membership and\r\nany other perrtinent information I would very much appreciate it.
