Played here on a superbly organised charity day (The Lady Taverners) during the “monsoon period” at the end of June 2007. This is a well designed, easy walking parkland course, with tree lined fairways and hidden ponds and streams that come into play and make club selection very important. It looks and plays much more mature than its age suggests, the greens were superb and stood up very well to the volume the players on a day that saw most people change in and out of waterproofs several times. The food and facilities were top class in lovely surroundings.
One point to bear in mind as a first time visitor, is the distance the clubhouse is from the pro shop and course, a compromise has to be chosen on parking ones car.

Played the course for the first time, and absolutely loved it. Despite the time of year, the course was a joy to play, even with the greens undergoing preparation for the new season, and the fairways suffering from an excess of recent rainfall. Every hole was a fair challenge, with the right balance between risk and reward, especially the brilliantly designed 16th. The staff and members were very welcoming and were a credit to the club. I would highly recommend a visit, and despite living over an hour's drive away, will make the effort to play there again. First class course coupled with a first class venue.

Played in a company day yesterday, and can honestly say that I haven't enjoyed a days golf so much for a long time.
The course was in unbelievable condition bearing in mind the weather recently, with the greens particularly good.
I enjoyed the challenge of the back nine particularly, with some really tight driving holes.
The service and professionalism of the staff, not to mention the delicious food could not be faulted, and despite the 3 hour drive to get there, I will not be put off visiting again

Enjoyed Kenwick. Difficult course. Great professional - Eric Sharpe - and good stock in shop. I'll be back.

I managed to play some of the worst golf of my life; probably, came last in a tournament, and still came away thinking what a good course this was!
The greens were in excellent condition, very true with enough borrow on some to make them testing. The fairways although narrow in places were in good condition, and all the people I met were most helpful and polite.
The off-course facilities and the food very good.
So why did I play so badly, just one of those days, combined with not thinking about what was the sensible shot. A course that requires good placement if you are to score well.
In the words of Arnie "I'll be back"
