I took up playing golf mid 2006 at Homelands and as a complete novice I found the course to be really good and challanging without being overawed. If your thinking of taking up golf there is no better place to start. The training area is seperate from the driving range and the facilities are excellent your golf swing can be analised by computer as well as a professional instructor.
The driving range is excellent and well maintained, the club house has a small but well kept bar and the cub house serves the best winter soup you've ever tasted.Staff are friendly and helpfull and golf shop is very good.
All in all its a very good 9 hole course.

Took golf up mid 2006, and was recommended this course as a good one to learn, and pleased it was. Played it 6 times with varying results. The course is well maintained, some good open fairways, but not a course to get compacent on. The Club has a nice feel to it with really friendly staff. Course etiquette is good and there is always someone around to offer good positive help for a novice.
An excellent course to learn on, and worth revisiting regularly to hone ones skills. Have enjoyed every round here, Recomend it.

This is a pleasant 9 hole course no par 5's but none the less an ideal course for those who wish to move up from pitch & putt to playing golf properly, there is a club and they have monthly medals etc.
The club house is small but well appointed, the pro shop is well stocked and the driving range is excellent, visit here for a pleasant experience.
