Played this early November, agreed not the best time of the year, on a Society day. Played B & C, B was good particulary the starting hole into the wind. After the first hole on 'C' the rest were disappointing. The course planner was a waste of £4, some members of our society even felt the on course yardage markers were incorrect.

Course was generally in good condition for the time of the year, greens good, although I did not get on with them. The rough looked like it had recently held the Surrey round of the Lawn Mower cross country racing championship. This is a particular gripe of mine "why do they always look like they race the mowers in the rough?" I guess I should keep away from the rough, boy do I try.

The vistors showers reminded me of a Rugby Club.

The meal was disapponting served luke warm with some indifference.

The industrial design of the clubhouse meant that we heard the chatter from the bar rather than our Captain witty remarks. Still can't blame the members for that.

Value for money was OK, as I understand we got a good deal.

Finally would like to play the course in the summer, at the same rate of course.

Played ona Friday. 36 holes for £120 (between 3, but it could have been 4 players), so excellent value.

We were told there was a society playing but we never saw anyone within 3 holes.

Greens were true and fair. Water comes into play a lot, but considering all the rain we've had, the course was in great condition. I can understand the comments about the layout, but this only affects a couple of par 5s on C course, which are not so much doglegs as "L"-shaped to fit in to the boundaries. Lovely course which reward straight shots and punishes anything wayward (many ditches). Food was good and fast.

Just played this at the weekend on a 2 for 1 offer. The course was very empty and I can fully see why. At £50 for a weekend green fee, there are many better value courses in Surrey. This is a £30 course, but for £25 on the deal we got it was good value. Now to the course, we played B&C. B was a good nine, fair and decent layout. I did think the same for C until the holes got more and more ridiculous, no real thought had gone into their layout. Greens were excellent and rolled very well. Worst of all was the course planner, they spent more money on making it look pretty and binding in than its contents! There are many mistakes in it and doesn't help in the slightest on those holes which are tight. All members and staff were very friendly and helped us with drive direction and finding the next hole.

Played wildwood on the 29th March and what a bargin for £27 pounds -bargin. bacon Sarnie, 27 holes and lunch. Played the Par 3 nine hole and followed by B&C courses. Good course well laid out and not over crowded. Good, consistant greens, great fairways and a comforable 19th.

Would i pay full price to play here in the summer; probably not though, better courses for less money around

Played here on a Monday,Feb. 07.

Friendly & helpful pro & a nice clubhouse but unfortunately without a course to match it.I found it uninspiring.

They do a deal on a Monday for free golf if you give them your e-mail address but afterwards i was relieved that i hadn't paid anything for it.

We played B & C. B inparticular i thought was poor & was the newer 9 .

On the holes that weren't wide open here you have to aim between two trees off the tee or through funnel areas & i didn't like this design feature.

The 1st on the B course is ridiculously tight off the tee with water right & left & even though it's a par 5 it just encourages you to hit a medium iron off the tee. Also on B ,after the 1st hole i can't remember seeing any bunkers anywhere which left the green surrounds looking nondescript.

Other gripes were being stuck behind an ignorant 3 ball on an empty course & not being able to get any food in the clubhouse when we finished mid afternoon.

The one positive was that the greens were true ,consistent & very nice to put on.

Even if it was free i wouldn't return.

After the last time we played here we were invited back with reduced green fees to sample the course at its best. And that we did. The tees - fairways and greens were in excellant condition. We played the B&C course this time and found it a great challenge. Infact we have already booked two society dates next year.
