I played this course for the first time yesterday, and was really impressed. The course was in great nick, and I thought was a real challenge. The rough, even the short stuff, is really punishing, and the greens are big and undulating. You would not know you were inside the M25, with the rolling hills a lovely distraction from the golf. And astonishingly for a sunny June Sunday, it was quiet with no pressure from others.
A real find...

Played here midweek December 06 (£15 after 1 p.m)
I thought this downland course was reasonably interesting .It's well designed (Peter Alliss) & well laid out.
It's fairly open & exposed & it's shortness in length is compensated for by the wind which has to be factored in + the challenging nature of the greens.
These linksy greens were interesting with humps & steps (there's a huge humpy double green for the 9th & 18th holes).Considering the time of year the course condition was decent although off fairway was quite wet underfoot.
I found the club welcoming with a friendly & helpful pro + staff & the clubhouse was very modern & relaxed.
If you can get on for less than £20 i would say that it's worth investigating.

Played Sunday 19th March 2006 - Twilight rate from 2pm (£25). I phoned the club Sunday morning to see if there would be space for a 2-Ball (A Friend & Myself). Pro-Shop said we could go of at 2pm. Upon arrival we were told that there was a delay and we would now be going of at 2.15pm. Not so bad, so hit a few balls on the range to loosen up. Got to 1st T at 2pm to see 2 4-Balls going off and no-one in front of them !!!!. The 2nd group all hit there drives right into the rough, so they graciously waved us through. Holed out and the other 4-Ball were just going of on the 2nd (Par 3). They stood aside and let us play through, which again was a great help. Once passed the two 4-Balls we had a clear run. Course was OK, not really a £25 course though. Very up and down and you could see it was a young course. That said the greens were superb, with great undulations. On some holes playing your 2nd shot to the green had a slight links feel to it, which was nice but a wee bit bizzare. I my opinion there were no feature holes. 18th is OK but not superb by any means. It is tryng to be a SUPER club without the course to back it up. I had birdies at 8th/9th and 10th. I have never had 3 Birdies in a round before so it was good for confidence but shows the trouble with the course. There are some very short Par 4's (7th 290yds / 11th 305yds / 17th 301yds). The 15th/16th/17th are very weak holes and un-interesting. Overall course presented well, but there are better courses in the area (Westerham / Rupser) which give much better value for money. I play of 20 and only dropped 11 shots on a windy day, so this gives you an idea of the test of golf you get !!!!

Played the course a number of times during past 3 months or so and bearing in mind we're into the winter months it has held up very well indeed. All round in excellent condition.
Some interesting and challenging holes that suit all ranges of ability.
New Club House is fantastic and offers all the facilities required.
Robert Bedford (England) 14/01/05
Played this course a couple of times over the christmas and new year break.
The course was in excellent condition, no temporary tees or greens.
The course itself is fairly long for a relatively high handicapper like myself, but a very enloyable round indeed. The most memorable holes are the par 4 eighth and the par 5 eighteenth.
The brand new club house has superb facilities and i was made to feel very welcome.
