Martin Moor Golf Club Player Reports
Huw Birrell (Wales) 02/11/05
It always was a great (long) 9 hole course but the new owners have made significant improvements in their 6 months.
Although the bunkers are GUR until they have re-worked them over the winter it does not detract from a superb course.
I was told that planning permisiion has been granted for a new clubhouse ( the drawings are up on the wall and look most impressive)and that building will start in November so the facilities that are a little lacking at the moment should be great for 2006.

This club has recently been taken over and is being improved as quickly as possible. The club is one of the longest 9 holes courses in england, but you can also play 18 holes from different tee's.All in all a very enjoyable day out for this novice, with several par 5 holes to stretch even the more experenced golfer. At the green fee no one can grumble, and for the novice,or even the more experienced golfer on a budget this is the club to give a try.
