Location/Description:
Sandhill Golf Club is based in Little Houghton, 6 miles east of Barnsley. Sandhill Golf Course was built in 1991/92 and opened for play in 1993.
Although some work will continue, for the on going process of improvements, the course has now reached its early maturity and is showing the promise of a rewarding challenge to the club golfer.
The course is 6,257 yards long, par 71 for the gentlemen and 5,548 yards long, par 73 for the ladies.
Golf Buggies are available to hire per round. Golfing attire and equipment is available from the shop/booking office along with various light refreshments and snacks.
Green Fees:
18 holes weekday £12.00
18 holes weekend £16.00

Catering:
The Clubhouse compliments the course, serving a wide range of drinks and meals through most days.
The clubhouse facilities include changing rooms and showers. Non golfers are also very welcome to use the clubhouse.
No jeans or training shoes allowed on the course.

Visitors are welcome to pay and play. Telephone 01226 753444 for a booking. (Members have extra booking time allowance).
Societies:
Societies are very welcome, 7 days a week.
(Only one society per day at the weekend)
