Sandhill Golf Club Player Reports
Andrew Oliver (England) 09/11/07
The fairways on the 1st and 2nd need some attention, as do the first couple of greens, but after that very little to fault considering the time of year. Most holes offer generous fairways, but nearly every green has some serious borrows which makes reading putts for the visitor a nightmare! Sandhill appears to be a very progressive club, i played with a couple of members and they notified me of the developments taking place, most of which appear to have worked well and added value to the course. The clubhouse is cosy and the staff in the pro shop polite. Could do the a resident pro, always nice for a visitor to have a natter with the pro and nosy in the club shop, or maybe thats just me!

The fairway on the first two holes need some attention but overall a nice little course. An excellent course for the novice/intermediate player with lovely greens. The welcome from everyone associated with the course can't be faulted.

You'll get a really warm welcome at Sandhill, from the Pro shop, bar staff and green staff. Easy course, with generous fairways. Some very tough to read greens and some really deep bunkers to avoid, 4th especially. Very easy walking. Playable all year round.

This course does accept visitors and makes them welcome. It does have good catering facilities and it will take societies even at weekends.
It is suceptable to becoming very soft and waterlogged during really wet winters but in the summer plays really well.
The club have recently made a lot of alterations making the course better and more interesting to play
