After playing Risebridge last week I had seriously considered giving up winter golf. Luckily Crowlands has shown me that a course can still be great in the winter.
Undulating Fairways and Greens, well laid out and in great condition for the time of year. The course is on a small bit of land so is short and a little bit cramped, but it is well designed and a good test (especially when the rough is grown in the summer).
I would recommend this to anyone wanting a quick 9 holes on a quality course. Honestly cant understand the critical comments below.

What a fantastic inland links golf course. I've played at the top level of amateur golf and found this would compare with any course I've ever played. Loved the Aqua Driving Range and the new USGA Spec Short Game Area was amazing quality - best greens I've ever played on. I don't understand The poor rating by Dave Mann - he must have played a different golf course!!!!!

On entering the course we found a driving range into water and a well looked after front area that gave the impression of a grest course to be played. Oh dear. We started on the first and thought Field. We got to the fourth and thought . Big Field. The course is boring with no challenge to any handicapper. Hit the ball and hope. At one time on the fourth tee i could see every hole in play. If you want to have a nice round of golf i would recommend going to a large field rather than coming here.

Quality 9-hole course with fast greens in summer. Par 4 4th (428yd from White tees), Par 3 5th (214yd from White tees) & Par 5 9th (537 from White tees) are challenging to a Handicapper of any ability and the rough is quite testing at times.
If you want to play a nice little testing course for a fair price I urge you to book a tee time at Crowlands Heath!

superb little course, well situated in Dagenham.. Lovely wide fairways and lightning fast greens, the par 5 9/18 is great and a real challenge. The course is quite reasonable in terms of price and thankfully no chavs turn up looking to play which is an added bonus..well recommended.
