I played the international last week and again was very impressed with the course. The greens, tees and fairways are in great condition, the rough however is another matter and is very very deep, too much for a high handicapper, perhaps its set up like this for the Open it is due to host soon? Also the walk between the tees and greens was sometimes silly, a buggy is essential or you are talking 5hrs + for a round. Having said all of this the club house is great, the staff excellent and the facilities all first class and 5*. I love playing here, it gives you a sense of occasion, I would love to play the Heritage but so far this has eluded me. Well worth a long drive to experience.

Played the International on a charity golf day (21st June 2005).
I can concur that it is a truly magnificent centre. From the mile drive from the entrance to the clubhouse, the waiting caddie/porter to unload your clubs, the perfect driving range & pratice area, the GPS buggies and thethe unparalleled changing facilities (incl ice cold plunge pool which was very welcome after the heat we played in.....Oh and the course ...excellent
I can't honestly find fault. The greens ran true the fairways were excellent.
Is it the best course I've played in this country....mmm..close but not quite...That honour still belongs to The Buckinghamshire

What a fantastic experience. Played the International and have to say it was a great course, tough in a strong wind but I have never platyed on better greens - as for the 3rd and 17th over water, boy does it test your nerve. Great clubhouse and facilities - nice to see how the other half live.

Played the International Course and it was in quite good condition. Shame the ponds were not full as the hazards where just black binliners. The course is challenging and is a very long walk espescially from the 10 green to the 11th tee. Overall a very good club with superb clubhouse.

Played both these courses 50+times each they are both very good courses the Heritage maybe 2-3 shots more difficult I have found. The Club in itself is a little cold due to the lack of members thus making it easy to play more or less any time you want to .Both courses have differing challenges and wll continue to play there as and when I am around .Only gripe is that as soon as the weather turns it is a very bleak place and winetr golf there is often not enjoyable due to the gale force winds that are often around and that not really a gripe its just a fact of the layout . Great club .
