Played it today for the first time. I have rarely been so impressed by a course first time up. I have been a member of a course not a mile away for 10 years but this place really takes the biscuit. This is the most attractive course I have played since Parkstone in Bournemouth and to hold a candle to that is saying something.

Played here the other day with a member (this the only way you can play here, apart from society days) and 2 other works collegues, i have to say its an excellent course, very challeging and very tight in places, as all the holes have trees either side of them. The greens are very true, fast,in superb condition and very very tricky, a real test! The staff were friendly and the there are some real genuine characters amongst their senior members. I'm a relative high handicapper and i must admit i did struggle in places around it, as placement is the real key to playing well around this course. I will be playing here again and i will be definatley playing it differently, leaving the driver in the bag more!! 1 tip - if you do manage to play here, don't underestimate the 18th green, it may not look steep, but if your higher than the pin when you get on and miss... be prepared for a fairly long walk!!
