We have just returned from our annual trip to North Shore.(25th-27th jan 2008) this was our parties 10th year and my 7th. I dont think you could find a better deal for 2 nights bed, breakfast and evening meal than at North Shore. We have just paid £101.50p for a fantastic weeked, not only golf but the accomodation and the food too. After the weather we had recently we all were wondering what state the course would be in but when we got there ( apart fromn the work they were doing alongside the 1st and 17th fairway) it was in great condition. fair enough we play off the mats every year but i cant remember a green ever been closed. the greens were in good shape again this year. all in all its a lovely course, not too hard but very enjoyable. most of the staff in the hotel are very friendly, the food is excellent and at this price well worth a visit.next years price is about £104, just be aware that after the 25th january next year the price rises to £130 and in the summer it will cost you about £200. you are gambling with the weather but i think its a gamble worth taking.

Feb 2006. Played during an excellent value golf break staying at the ajoining hotel. Course a mixture of links and park land. Links much more interesting, but overall a very enjoyable course that suits all abilities.
Some super holes with blind approach shots, and the condition of the course was very good. I can recommend as part of a golf break, but I think if the price of a day ticket was more than £30 I would be looking elsewhere.

Really enjoyed the course. Good links layout with some interesting short drivable par fours to compensate for those we couldn't even reach in two. Views of the sea from many holes.
The greens were suffering following fusilleum treatment making them quite patchy. Hopefully this would be just a temporary thing. Very good clubhouse/hotel overlooking the ninth, great fish, chips and mushy peas! Excellent course planner and pro shop had some good bargains in clubs.
The wind blew from the north but the sun shone all day. Would definitely consider this course along with Seacroft if you are in the area.
