Location/Description:

The Blakes Championship course, designed by renowned course architect Howard Swan, is best described as an inland links. The layout and undulations of the course are totally unique to the area with rolling fairways and sleepered bunkers giving the feel of a traditional seaside links course.

A unique drainage system involving a grid work of gully pots positioned on all fairways, USGA standard sand based tees and greens enable the course to be playable in all conditions. Full computerised fairway, tee and green irrigation enable all areas to remain green and lush should there be a lack of rainfall. Tees and greens have been constructed to a size that will mean that the use of temporary greens and mats as teeing points will not be necessary.

Buggy paths that cover the entire golf course enable buggies to be used for 12 months of the year. Our fleet of buggies will all be fitted with the Golf Plus GPS System. This is a satellite navigation system which informs the golfer of exact ya

Monday - Thursday £15
Saturday, Sunday £25 Friday - Sunday after 11am
A 4 ball with 2 buggies £99 midweek / £130 weekends
A 2 ball with 1 buggy £55 midweek / £75 weekends

Catering:

Blakes' superb, modern, three level clubhouse overlooks the 18th hole and has superb views over rural Essex towards London. The View bar is on the top floor and serves bar snacks and meals all day

The Blakes restaurant will be a totally unique experience. The location and setting will set it apart from the competition.
The decor and fit out of the restaurant will blend in with the overall theme of the building. A full a la carte menu will be offered, with the restaurant being open Wednesday to Sunday.

Visitors:

Visitors are able to play at blakes any time on monday to Friday and after 12pm saturday and sunday. Visitors to the club can enjoy complimentary tea and coffee in the lounge or take breakfast in the View Bar. The driving range putting green and chipping green are available for visitors to use. All range balls are complimentary and stacked in pyramids on the bays.

Societies:

Society and group bookings are available at Blakes. All golf days benefit from free use off the practise facilities with complimentary range balls. There is a free towel service in the locker rooms, and you are able to dine in the 5 star a la carte restaurant or relax in the View bar after your game.
